What happens after I join The Bad Bodega Membership?

Once you select your membership tier and complete checkout, you will receive a welcome email containing your member access details. After that, you can log in and shop The Bad Bodega members-only area.

If you are applying for a qualified tier such as Veteran / LEO, verification may be required before full access is activated.

When do my membership benefits start?

Membership benefits begin once your signup is processed and your access is activated. For most tiers, that happens as soon as your welcome email arrives. Qualified tiers may require verification first.

How do I access member pricing after I sign up?

Once your membership access is active, member pricing will appear on eligible products when you are logged into your account.

Do I need to create an account before joining?

Yes. The membership signup process includes the information needed to create or activate your member account so you can access your pricing and benefits.

Will I receive a confirmation email after I join?

Yes. You will receive a welcome email with your access details and a summary of your membership information after your signup is processed.

How do I know which membership tier I signed up for?

Your welcome email and receipt will show the tier associated with your account.

How long will it take to receive my welcome email?

Most welcome emails are sent quickly after signup is processed. If you do not receive yours within 24 hours, contact us at TheBadBodega@outlook.com and include your receipt so we can help.

How does the DEFENDER plan work?

Defender is a qualified membership tier. Verification is required thru ID.ME Once verified thru ID.ME or Paystub sent in to Customer Support, you will receive a welcome email..

What is the difference between the membership tiers?

Each tier is built for a different type of buyer.

Which membership tier is best for casual buyers?

For most casual buyers, Striker is the simplest starting point because it unlocks member pricing without the higher-tier perk structure.

Which membership tier is best for repeat buyers?

For frequent buyers who want the strongest recurring perks, APEX is usually the best fit because it includes the lower free-shipping threshold and the monthly free ammo benefit on qualifying offers.

Which membership tier is best for active FFLs, dealers, sellers, or members who want to buy, sell, or exchange with another APEX member?

APEX Dealer is the dedicated tier for that use case. It is built for active FFLs, dealers, sellers, and members who want to buy, sell, or exchange with other APEX members through a flat-rate monthly structure.

It is designed to be a much lower-cost alternative to marketplace-style selling fees, and founding members pay no transactional fees — just the monthly membership fee.

What makes APEX different from the other plans?

APEX is the premium consumer-facing membership tier. It includes the lower free-shipping threshold at $149+ on the first qualifying shipment up to 30 lb, plus one free ammo box coupon every month while your membership remains active and in good standing.

What makes APEX Dealer different from regular APEX?

APEX Dealer is a separate dealer-focused tier built for active FFLs, dealers, sellers, and members who want to buy, sell, or exchange with other APEX members.

It follows a flat-rate monthly structure and includes the same core APEX-level access for dealer-focused activity, but it does not include the free-shipping benefit or the monthly free-ammo benefit.

It is also positioned as a lower-cost alternative to marketplace-style selling fees, with no transactional fees for founding members — just the monthly membership fee.

Can I upgrade from Striker to Viper, APEX, or APEX Dealer later?

Yes. You can request an upgrade to a higher tier at any time, subject to any tier-specific eligibility or verification requirements.

Can I downgrade my membership if I want a lower tier?

Yes. You can request a downgrade if a lower tier better fits your needs.

If I change tiers, when do the new benefits take effect?

Updated benefits take effect once the tier change is processed and any required verification is complete.

Billing & Changes

How monthly and annual plans work, renewals, failed payments, and cancellations.

Is membership billed monthly or yearly?

Striker, Viper, and APEX are available in monthly or annual billing. APEX Dealer is currently listed at $99.99/month. Qualified tiers such as Veteran / LEO may follow their own approved setup where applicable.

How does the annual membership option work?

For All memberships including Defender, Striker, Viper, and APEX, the annual paid-in-full option gives you 12 months of Premium Acess for the cost of only 10 MONTHS. We give you a 2 month discount to pay in full. This is only for first time sign ups. Full annual rate will be charged upon renewal.

Will my membership renew automatically?

Yes. Monthly memberships renew monthly, and annual memberships renew yearly unless canceled before the next renewal. APEX Dealer renews on its monthly cycle unless otherwise updated by The Bad Bodega.

Can I switch from monthly billing to annual billing later?

Yes, for tiers that offer annual billing. If you want to move from monthly to annual on Striker, Viper, or APEX, contact support for help making the change.

Can I switch from annual billing back to monthly?

Because annual plans are prepaid, switching back to monthly may require support review. Email TheBadBodega@outlook.com for help with plan changes.

What happens if my payment fails?

If your payment fails, your membership access or benefits may be paused until your account is restored to good standing.

How do I cancel my membership?

To cancel, You can simply click on the cancellation button in your Admin Panel or you can submit your request in writing through support before your next renewal date. If you need help, email TheBadBodega@outlook.com.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes. You can request cancellation at any time. To avoid another renewal charge, make sure your request is submitted before the next billing date.

If I cancel, do my benefits end immediately or at the end of the billing cycle?

In most cases, your benefits continue through the end of the paid billing period already in effect unless otherwise stated for your plan.

Will I receive a refund if I cancel after being charged?

Membership charges are treated as non-refundable once processed. If you have a billing issue, contact support for review.

What happens to my pricing access if I cancel?

Your member pricing access ends when your membership access ends, unless your account is reactivated.

Can I reactivate my membership later?

Yes. If you decide to return later, you can reactivate your membership and resume member access, subject to any current pricing, verification, or eligibility requirements.

Ammo, Shipping & Perks

These answers reflect the current The Bad Bodega shipping and membership perk rules.

Which plans include free ammo?

Viper includes one free ammo box coupon every quarter, for up to four free box claims per year while your membership remains active and in good standing.

APEX includes one free ammo box coupon every month, for up to twelve free box claims per year while your membership remains active and in good standing.

Striker does not include a recurring free-ammo benefit, and APEX Dealer does not include the monthly ammo benefit.

Coupons must be claimed at checkout during the active coupon period. They do not roll over, they do not accumulate, and they have no cash value outside The Bad Bodega site.

Important: If you only claim a free ammo box and do not place additional qualifying merchandise in the order, you are still responsible for applicable shipping charges as well as the $9.99 handling fee.
Does Viper include a free ammo box every month or only once per quarter?

Viper includes one free ammo box coupon per quarter, not every month.

Does APEX include one free ammo box every month automatically?

Yes. APEX members receive one free ammo box coupon by email each month while the membership remains active and in good standing.

Does APEX Dealer include the monthly ammo benefit?

No. APEX Dealer is a separate tier and does not include the monthly free-ammo benefit.

What kind of ammo is included in the free ammo offer?

Rather than put restraints on our members, we've decided to simply provide a $15 coupon voucher that can be redeemed at checkout regardless of the order. No credits will be applied to any order that is LESS Than the $15 voucher:

Meaning, if your entire order is LESS than the $15 voucher, or you buy something that costs only $10, and you redeem your coupon, you will only receive the cost of the product discounted to Zero. The coupon will not subtract from TAX, Shipping or the Handling Fee.
Do I get to choose the caliber or product for the free ammo box?

Yes. You can purchase whatever you like and apply the $15 voucher at checkout. The coupon amount will be deducted from the total before tax, shipping and or processing fees. No credits will be applied to your account for any purhcase less than the coupons face value.

Are there limits or exclusions on the free ammo benefit?

No, You can purchase any item. Coupon voucher will be applied at checkout. Claims do not roll over and have no cash value.

Do shipping restrictions apply to free ammo perks?

Yes. Free ammo benefits must comply with all regulations as well as The Bad Bodega shipping policy, carrier, legal, federal and state restrictions.

What happens if ammo cannot be shipped to my state or address?

All buyers are responsible for knowing and complying with the laws in their own state and locality. The Bad Bodega does not provide legal advice. Some states may require additional documentation or routing through a licensed dealer where required by law. Once the coupon is redeemed, the coupon is no longer valid and can not be "transferred" to another order after checkout.

Do I lose my free ammo benefit if I cancel or miss a payment?

Yes. Free ammo benefits are only available to active paying members in good standing.

Which membership plans include free shipping?

Striker does not include free-shipping eligibility.

Viper includes free standard ground shipping on the first qualifying shipment when the product subtotal is $250 or more after member discounts and before taxes, and the shipment weighs 20 lb or less.

APEX includes free standard ground shipping on the first qualifying shipment when the product subtotal is $149 or more after member discounts and before taxes, and the shipment weighs 30 lb or less.

APEX Dealer does not include a free-shipping benefit.

Do member shipping perks apply to every item in the store?

No. Shipping benefits depend on tier, subtotal, shipment weight, destination, compliance requirements, and inventory routing. Regulated products, transfer-required products, restricted destinations, and non-qualifying shipments may not be eligible the same way as standard ground-eligible orders.

What is the same-day processing cutoff for eligible orders?

The current same-day processing cutoff is 2:00 PM CST for eligible orders. Incomplete orders or orders that do not follow placement requirements are not processed until those issues are resolved.

Does same-day processing guarantee same-day shipment or delivery?

No. Order processing time and carrier transit time are different. Same-day processing may be available for eligible orders, but delivery timing still depends on routing, carrier service, compliance review, and inventory availability.

Compliance & Orders

Important shipping and legal limitations that still apply to all members and all orders.

Do shipping restrictions still apply to members?

Yes. Membership never overrides federal law, state law, carrier rules, fulfillment restrictions, documentation requirements, or destination eligibility rules. All orders remain subject to compliance screening and shipment approval.

Can ammunition ship to a P.O. box?

No. Ammunition orders must ship to a valid physical residential or commercial address. P.O. boxes are not eligible.

Is an adult signature required for ammunition orders?

Yes. Adult signature is required where applicable, including regulated jurisdictions that impose age-verification or signature requirements.

Does free shipping apply outside the contiguous 48 states?

No. Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories are outside the membership free-shipping benefit and may incur additional carrier charges regardless of membership tier.

How are split shipments handled?

If an order is split because products ship from different inventory locations, each shipment is evaluated separately. Free shipping applies only to the first qualifying shipment. Additional packages may require buyer-paid shipping charges.

Can orders be combined after checkout to reach a shipping threshold?

No. Orders cannot be combined after checkout to reach a membership free-shipping threshold.

What should I do if my shipment is lost, damaged, incomplete, or incorrect?

Report lost, stolen, damaged, incomplete, or incorrect shipment issues within 5 days of delivery or expected delivery. Keep the original packaging available for inspection if needed.
